babysitter preparation course
Super Sitter! is a babysitting safety training program for young people aged 10-18. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on skills stations, attendees learn everything they need to know to keep little ones from infancy through school age safe and happy while their primary caregivers are away.
Topics include feeding, diapering, normal childhood behaviors, safety, active and passive play, supervision needs, and emotional support. Infant and child CPR and First Aid skills are also practiced. Students also learn how to best create and operate a babysitting business including parenting profiles, being an employee of good character, and the ways to keep themselves safe while working.
This course is taught by a Masters-trained health educator and CPR instructor.
